KSM™ Client Case Study

PeptideDoc: Building AI Visibility for a Physician-Led Medical Practice

From a 35/100 pre-launch KSM™ baseline to 62/100 on Day 1.

PeptideDoc demonstrates how the Knowledge Structuring Model™ can be applied to a physician-led healthcare organization to improve how search engines and AI systems identify the organization, physician authority, services, location and supporting evidence.

01 · Starting point

The Challenge

PeptideDoc had physician expertise and an established medical practice, but its digital information was not consistently structured for modern search engines and AI systems. The challenge was to make the relationship between the organization, physician, location, services and supporting evidence easier for machines to identify and interpret.

Can an AI system clearly determine what PeptideDoc is, who owns and leads it, where care is provided, what services it offers and which information is authoritative?

Pillar 1 — Structured Extractability

The implementation created a more consistent machine-readable knowledge layer across PeptideDoc's website.

  • Self-referencing canonical URLs
  • index, follow directives
  • Unique titles and descriptions
  • OpenGraph metadata
  • Structured service pages
  • JSON-LD
  • Breadcrumbs
  • FAQ structured data
  • Sitemap
  • robots.txt
  • AI-readable site architecture

  2. Physician
  3. MedicalTherapy / Service
  4. BreadcrumbList

Pillar 2 — Entity Salience

KSM™ reduced ambiguity around the relationship between the physician and PeptideDoc, so machines can connect the founder, the practice, its location and its services.

Pillar 3 — Citation Authority

Citation Authority remained the least-developed KSM™ pillar on Day 1. The owned knowledge layer improved rapidly, but external corroboration and independent authority require time to develop.

This finding shifted the next phase of the implementation from website construction toward external recognition, corroboration and citation growth.

06 · External validation

Search Engine Validation

Bing Webmaster Tools was used as an external technical validation source for priority service pages.

07 · Technical work

Day 1 Remediation

10 strategic pages were standardized for:

  • Canonical URLs
  • Indexability
  • Titles
  • Descriptions
  • OpenGraph metadata
  • Organization identity
  • Physician identity
  • Founder/owner relationship
  • Physician NPI
  • Medical-service entities
  • Physical location
  • Breadcrumbs

Consistent entity IDs

https://peptidedoc.com/#clinic

https://peptidedoc.com/#dr-maslavi

Persistent IDs help machines understand that references across multiple pages describe the same clinic and the same physician.

08 · Participation

Google Generative AI Visibility Enabled

On Day 1, PeptideDoc was explicitly configured in Google Search Console to allow its links and content to appear in Google's Search generative AI features, including AI Overviews and AI Mode.

This setting does not guarantee an AI citation. It ensures that PeptideDoc is not excluded from participation while KSM™ works to improve the structured, entity and authority signals that influence visibility.

Day 1 finding

The website was no longer the primary constraint.

By the end of Day 1 remediation, PeptideDoc's owned digital knowledge layer had become substantially more structured and machine-readable. The next visibility constraint shifted outward toward external corroboration, citation authority and AI recognition.

09 · Day 1 → Day 30

The Next Phase

The Day 30 phase moves from structured presence toward recognized authority.

  • Google Search Console indexing
  • Sitemap processing
  • Google Business Profile
  • Physician and business directory consistency
  • LinkedIn entity consistency
  • Authoritative clinical references
  • External PeptideDoc citations
  • AI query benchmarking
  • Branded and non-branded query monitoring
Can search engines and AI systems consistently recognize PeptideDoc as a distinct physician-led medical entity founded and owned by Saul F. Maslavi, MD, and corroborate that relationship through authoritative external sources?
